Im Weingut „Engelberg“ auf den Fluren der „Scheanen“ bei Schluderns wachsen seit über zwei Jahrzehnten weiße und rote Trauben, die im Weinkeller von Elmar Luggin und seiner Familie zu außergewöhnlich edlen und bekömmlichen Tropfen ausreifen. Als Luggin 1995 mit dem Weinbau auf einer Meereshöhe von 1.000 Metern begann, zweifelten viele daran, dass es ihm gelingen würde, gute Weine zu produzieren. Doch sie wurden eines Besseren belehrt. Luggins Weine zählen mittlerweile zu den besten Weinen des Landes.

Nella tenuta vinicola Engelberg, situata nei vigneti dei "Scheanen" vicino a Sluderno, da oltre due decenni crescono uve bianche e rosse che, nella cantina di Elmar Luggin e della sua famiglia, maturano fino a diventare vini straordinariamente pregiati e armoniosi. Quando Luggin iniziò la sua avventura nella viticoltura a 1.000 metri di altitudine nel 1995, in molti dubitavano che sarebbe riuscito a produrre vini di qualità. Ma si sbagliavano. Oggi, i vini di Luggin sono tra i migliori del paese.

At the Engelberg winery, located on the "Scheanen" fields near Sluderno, white and red grapes have been thriving for over two decades. In the winery of Elmar Luggin and his family, these grapes are transformed into exceptionally refined and smooth wines. When Luggin started winemaking at an altitude of 1,000 meters in 1995, many doubted he could produce high-quality wines. But they were proven wrong. Today, Luggin's wines rank among the best in the country.
